Hello, I am Peggy Curry, mother of four beautiful healthy daughters, ages fifteen, thirteen, ten, and nine (yes, they keep us busy!). My husband Tim and I have been together for thirty years. My passions in life are my husband, our children, yoga, cooking, hiking, gardening, playing, reading, and being just plain 'ol lazy. I was a Special Education teacher for seven years, grades six through nine and an administrator for Special Education special projects for three years. When our second daughter turned two I resigned from teaching to raise our children.

When my eldest daughter was five, my mother had a reoccurrence from breast cancer. Two years later, my mother passed away. In an effort to help keep her spirit alive and to help others who had this disease, in her honor Evy's Garden was created. Evy's Garden Organic Marinara Sauce was sold nationwide, and the moneys raised went to fund Breast Cancer Research, and patient support. Our efforts with this company lasted five years.

I realized that my family was in great need to have their mom back home full time. I also learned a great deal of information regarding health, nutrition, and prevention during those years. I accumulated so much knowledge from nutritionists, homeopathic doctors, and the various health expos I attended, that I needed to set it aside for awhile and digest it. After two years, I have put into practice a lot of that knowledge with my family and friends.

In my quiet times I would ask for guidance as to where my next adventure would be. At first I wanted to be a naturopathic doctor, or homeopath, but realizing I wanted to use the talents that make my heart sing, cooking, and yoga fell right into place. Kitchen Blessings was created. Our hope is that with the knowledge that both Anne and I share, our passion towards cooking, as well as the spirit behind our efforts, will bring a comfort in your home by creating and sharing delicious meals for your family and friends.

LONG AGO A SEED WAS PLANTED

Thank You Mom for the nourishment you gave me.
For helping me tend life's garden and
For filling my days with sunshine
So I could bloom

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING A MOM!
